Welcome to The Leyland Project
|
The Leyland Project is a local organisation that is grounded in Christian values and is a UK registered charity. The project provides services to the local community through a 'The Place' Community Centre, a family support centre called 'Springfields' and the New 'Base' Community Centre. The Leyland Project staff and volunteers work with individuals, families and the community of Wade Hall and Broadfield estates in Leyland, Lancashire providing user driven family support, child care, youth work and community work.
The Place Community Centre is a modern facility and is available to local groups for hire. The Place is also our base for administration and bookings. Please contact us for more information or call in for an informal chat. Our door is always open! The Base Community Centre opened officially in January 2012 with grateful thanks to our partners in the project New Progress, Broadfield Residents Association and South Ribble Council. Also our funders for the refurbishment who were The Big Lottery Funds Awards for All and the Lancashire Environmental fund.
